empathAISe was founded to help business owners organise, automate and improve the efficiency of running and growing their business, without becoming consumed by the operational chaos that slowly builds around it.

In one of the first start-ups I worked in, I was impressed by the power of the HubSpot platform, but we were forever restricted by the cost. The cost of upgrading to unlock the next level of features, and then the next level after that. It quickly became unsustainable for a small business.

At the same time, my own father’s family-run clinic was still using paper diaries. Whilst there was something truly authentic about that, the reality was that the business needed to take a leap forward in technology. It simply wasn’t sustainable long term.

I searched the market far and wide and discovered the software platform we are now built upon. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that there’s no point reinventing the wheel, but there is value in building upon something strong and making it even better. An affordable alternative to the big enterprise systems.

Over the next three years, we tested the platform across three SMEs. We learned where businesses were losing time, where enquiries were slipping through the cracks, where communication broke down, and how much operational friction quietly slows growth.

That’s when empathAISe really evolved.

We licensed the software so we could customise it properly for SMEs in the sectors we know well and have worked in ourselves for years. For business owners who don’t have the time, technical skill, or desire to spend months learning systems and stitching together disconnected tools, but who know they need to modernise and cannot afford to fall behind.
